Alchemy Stones

The Red Dragonfly also serves as "World Headquarters" for Alchemy Stones.

Alchemy Stones are the creative expression of Red Dragonfly co-owner Peter Messerschmidt, and represent the unique intersection of nature, sacred geometry, mysticism and art.

Peter started drawing geometric patterns as a small boy and never stopped. All the original drawings were on paper... until one day the idea of combining the love of patterns with a love of beach combing came about... and "Alchemy Stones" were born.

All painting is done on natural beach combed stones from the Puget Sound region. The designs are all free hand, and come to Peter during meditation. The "alchemy" name comes as a result of the process of turning something ordinary-- a stone-- into a piece of art.
